Elephants... Photo Contest!

To celebrate the new album, Elephants…Teeth Sinking Into Heart, we'd like to give you a chance to win an iPhone!

Lyrics mean different things to everyone, which is why they are so special. To enter this contest, pick a phrase from the new album that means something to you, then send in a photograph (your own work) that exemplifies that phrase to you.

We'll pick the five photos that are most original and creative and put it to a vote. Please send all entries to team.ryamagata@gmail.com by Monday, November 3rd. Please include your full name and a quick description of your photograph including the phrase and song choice. You will be notified if your photo is picked as one of the top five. Good luck!

Barnes & Noble's Upstairs at the Square event series pairs writers with musicians for an evening of words and music.
This Thursday, Rachael will be joined by Egyptian author Alaa al Aswany who is a member of Writers and Artists for Change as well as Doctors for Change. His latest book, Chicago, based on his years as a dental student in that same city was recently translated to English and released in the US.
